Always adding new fabrics!

About Us

the owner, Stacie

Hello! I am Stacie of Stacie's Fabric Stash. I am an Idaho native and a military wife, mom, and grandma! I come from a long line of makers. My mother used to let me go in her fabric room and I would make clothes for my dolls with no patterns. I was active in 4H and loved learning all the ways to create! Middle school brought arts and crafts classes every semester. A friend in high school taught me to do counted cross-stitch. In college I took a textiles and clothing construction class. After I married my honey, his mother taught me about piecing and quilting, as I had only learned to tie quilts. As a way to connect, my mother-in-law would invite me to take sewing classes with her. In recent years she introduced me to wool applique, which I love. Crafting has always been a way of connecting with people. I had the opportunity after 25+ years as a stay-at-home-mom/homemaker to work for a family friend in their small local quilt shop. I love facilitating groups and teaching classes at the shop as well as expanding my knowledge of longarm quilting. I have begun to design and write wool, embroidery, and bag patterns and practice newly added skills of tatting and needle punch. There is always something new to learn and improve on.
